Maple

This rub was created especially for Maple lovers. It is exceptionally tasty on salmon, poultry and vegetables. Sweet, but not too sweet. You will enjoy the flavor and the many compliments from friends and family. Guess what?, you deserve it.

 

Sugar Maple (Hot)

Same as above with a little heat added.

 

Slippery Hill

A mild vinegary sauce, well likely by many and admired by most. A little hint of spice but not too hot. You may or may not want to share it. Can be used as a dipping sauce or a glaze.

 

Pacific Oriental

A blend and a flavor that is well over -due. Superb in flavor with a hint of ginger topping off with a mound of sesame seeds. How appropriate, sauteed, stir-fry or roast on your favorite dish. Excellent when cooking pork, poultry, beef or vegetables. Enjoy!

 

Heart Healthy No. 4 (No Salt, No Sugar)

If at first you do not succeed. Try, try, try again and again. That is why we have the no. 4 in this rub's name. It was well worth the work and it has proven to be a favorite. It has not salt, no sugar with a different twist. I am sure it will be enjoyed by many!

 

Judy's Favorite Rub Seasoning (No Salt, No Sugar)

An associate whose name is Judy, challenged us to come up with a no salt no sugar rub for their clientele. This is an exceptional rub for our customers with special diet and restrictions. They love it!

 

Texas Brisket Rub Seasoning

This blend is our award winning brisket rub very popular and is a exceptionally flavorful. It is designed to hold the juices in while penetrating the beef and spreading flavor throughout the brisket or tri-tip. Use this rub along with our brisket marinade for an award winning feast.

 

Jasmine's Southwest Marinade

When grilling or barbecuing, we add some kind of oil to prevent the product from sticking. Why not add flavor at the same time? Our Southwest Marinade will give you a taste of the Southwest Region and add a smooth cholesterol free olive oil flavor that is unique and very palatable. It is good on fish, beef, chicken and vegetables.

 

The Catch of the Day

A light citrus and herbal flavor designed to please the palate of our fish lovers. Grilled, smoked sauteed, this seasoning rub will be a delight to all. Some tell me it's good on their pork butts and pork chops, too. Either way, enjoy it and have fun.

 

Honey Barbecue Sauce w/ Garlic **

You have heard people for years say "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", we honestly believe that. But if you want to make it better, add garlic, lots of garlic. We now believe we have a better product that before. Enjoy!

 

Honey Barbecue Sauce **

The unforgettable taste will capture your taste forever. This is the sauce that all other sauces will be judged by you and your friends forever. It is strictly gourmet and rich in flavor with all the ingredients of a winner.Normally, sauces are regional, but this sauce has crossed regional lines and converted even the hard core sauce lovers of other areas, so enjoy!

 

Honey Barbecue Sauce (Hot) **

Same as Honey Barbecue Sauce with a little heat added.

 

Mojave Garlic Pepper

A cut above the rest in respect to its flavor and satisfaction when applied to beef and fish. A moderate hint of garlic and peppers has winner written all over it. Super on chicken and a delight when applied on prepared foods at the table. This is one that I really wanted to keep a secret.

 

Mojave Garlic Pepper w/ Hickory

Everything said above is true and applies to this rub as well. This one adds hickory flavor to a rub that is a true winner. If you like a mild hickory flavor with a twist of garlic pepper, you and found a treasure.

 

Sugar Foot **

A bold mixture of flavor and heat. A sugar base rub for those who like "HOT" without the salt. Excellent when cooking chicken, ribs, pork butts, beef and vegetables.

 

Hot Wing Seasoning

A perfect blend of herbs and spices. Not overpowering but good to the bone. Marinate your wings or use the flavorful seasoning immediately. It will please you and your guests.

 

Spicy Hot Honey Mustard **

This is not your ordinary honey mustard. Our Honey Mustard is sweet, hot and it has that something that others are missing. It's especially good on roasted chicken, pork or your favorite deli-style sandwich. You have never tasted anything so good!

 

Texas Pig Rub (Regular) **

A rub created by popular demand. Many of you wanted something specifically for pork. So, through frustration and many hours of blending and taste testing, we have for y'all our "Texas Pig Rub". This rub is sweet with a hint of cracked peppers. It has an abundance of flavor that is sure to please the palate. Execellent on pork loin, pork chops, spare ribs and etc.

 

Texas Pig Rub (Hot) **

Same as Texas Pig Rub but with a "little Heat" added.

 

All purpose "Lil'Shags"  *

The most versatile rub within the entire stock of our seasonings. Well balanced with a hint of smoke. Is not too poignant in any phase and will pull out the natural flavors of the meat or vegetables you are preparing. Excellent for smoking brisket, chicken, ribs and vegetables. An excellent marinade and sauce seasoning booster.

 

Apple Rub **

Direct from the Northwest area and full of flavor. Ironically this flavor has a hint of wine, berries and apples. Excellent on pork and chicken. It's unexplained flavor of a smooth fruity wine is one that I cannot explain. So try this flavor and see what you experience. Call me, I would like to know.

 

Bubba's "Chicken and Burger" Rub Seasoning  *

A fruity and citrus seasoning that our customers say is the best they have ever had on chicken, eggs and salads. Not too salty, but is full of flavor balance that is the key to its popularity. Replace your salt shaker with this excellent product. Excellent on chicken, fish, ribs and salads.

 

Bubba's" Chicken and Burger" Rub Seasoning (HOT) *

The same product as described above, but with some bite. By bite, I mean you can definitely feel the fire of it's character. Respect the results and enjoy the thanks you will receive from your guests. Excellent on fish, chicken, ribs, pork roast, vegetables and eggs. This is my seasoning of choice for blackening.

 

Cactus Rub Seasoning  *

A spice that gives you the flavor of the Desert Southwest, The Rio Grande and New Mexico wrapped in one distinct taste. A blend of Texas, and Mexico beaming with chiles of Central America. My favorite when doing any dish of Mexican origin or simply making Spanish rice. Surprisingly, my favorite on brisket, chicken wings or roasted corn on the cob.

 

Cajun Turkey Injection *

The Cajun Turkey Injection is a wild blend of spices that is meant to enhance the most bland of all fouls. This seasoning probably is the most versatile of all. It can be used for injecting, basting, marinating and braising. We are very proud of its versatility and wish you much success with its use.

 

Cajun Turkey Injection with Butter *

The Cajun Turkey Injection is a wild blend of spices that is meant to enhance the most bland of all fouls. This seasoning probably is the most versatile of all. It can be used for injecting, basting, marinating and braising. We are very proud of its versatility and wish you much success with its use.

 

Cajun Turkey Injection with Garlic Butter *

Cajun Seafood Boil *

This seasoning was created during my first job, as a Chef. It is a spice with plenty of Cajun and Southwestern flavors . We think it's versatility can be a plus when preparing many dishes with a Southern or Cajun origin.

 

Cherry Rub **

Filled with the Old English flavor of cherry blossom and maple leaves, and a warm fire place that defies one imagination. This seasoning is one of a kind and on to remember. So use your imagination and have fun. Good on pork or poultry.

 

Cuz'n Buddy's Basting and Marinade Sauce *

This is probably my true sauce and the first one that got the attention of my customers. A perfect blend of spices with the right amount of liquids. Used to baste steaks, roast, burgers or any other product yhou are trying to give that little extra flavor. Duplication often attempted, but never perfected as only John Henry's can do.

 

East Texas Chili Seasoning *

A splendid taste of the southwest with a hint of spice that is simply sensational. A taste that will leave you and your palate satisfied and wanting more. You can make this dish as spicy as wish or soften the flavor for your particular taste.Enjoy your chili the way we did in East Texas with burgers, fish and fries.

 

East Texas "Pinto Bean" Seasoning *

Another innovation that has been successful enough to be called one of our best sellers. Flavorful and tasty with a big hint of East Texas. Add tomatoes or tomato sauce(optional) and the contents of the bags and nothing else for a great flavor.

 

Fajita Rub Seasoning w/ Cilantro *

A very distinct flavor that has a personality of it's own. Does not have to be packed or ladened with a heavy coat. Get the thrill of fajitas on chicken or beef skirts. A mild flavor with a touch of cilantro that will remind you of the Mariachas and Old Mexico.

 

Lemon Pepper Rub Seasoning **

This is not just any lemon pepper. It was carefully selected to join our other rubs once we felt that it had the right color and pepper content to not just be another item on the horizon without anything special. We are very happy with this rub. It has your normal contents of lemon and pepper. One thing you will miss is the awful bite that comes with other lemon peppers. Our rub has the perfect balance of all three ingredients.

 

Lemon Pepper w/ Garlic *

This blend is a garlic and lemon pepper lover's dream. It encompasses the delicious taste of garlic and lemon pepper without the hash bitter taste. The sugar and other seasonings blend a hamonious flavor that you will truly love.

 

"Nedra D's" Hickory Rub Seasoning **

This very broad base rub has appeal throughout the nation and Europe. The aroma comes through the packaging. The flavor is distinct and you can enjoy the flavor of the wood without the hassle. By far the most popular baking, smoking or grilling rub for chicken, brisket, ribs or vegetables.

 

Hickory Rub Seasoning (HOT) **

Same as above, except this one is modestly hot and flavorful.

 

Hickory Rub Seasoning w/ Garlic **

This is sugar-based rub designed to give true hickory lovers a little something extra, "garlic". A blend that is essential for your pantry and next barbecue. Excellent on pork and chicken! You'll love it.

 

Hickory w/ Lemon Pepper **

I got this idea to put this flavor together because many customers were doing it themselves and wanting me to blend it for them. I did, and now you have the flavor to try as your own.

 

Honey Lemon Pepper **

By far one of the most versatile of all the seasonings. This is Ernie's Special and his creation. Enjoy lemon pepper without the harsh bitter taste. This rub is smooth and non-abrasive. A distinct flavor excellent when cooking fish, chicken wings, vegetables or stir-fried dishes.

 

John Henry's "Brina's" Fish Fry *

A special blend designed to be the best breading mixture. A taste first experienced in New Orleans when my Aunt Honey served us fish during a summer visit. A taste of spices peaked with hint of garlic that is out of this world. "Brina" is my daughter-in-law, mother of my sweetheart "Lil Shag ll".

 

Juanita's Salsa (Mild) (Hot)*

Homemade and a flavor that puts you in heart of Juarez. Hot, Tangy and mild with a hint of all that flavor of old Mexico Instead of your usual salsa, try ours and you will taste and feel that great sensation of old Mexico.

 

Mesquite Rub Seasoning **

Once thought of as a regional flavor in Texas and the Southwest this is now enjoyed throughout the nation and the world. This flavor is distinct but not offensive, a pleasing quality that is unmistakeable and will leave you fully pleased with its distinct character. Ole Bob's Hickory w/ Garlic *

Made especially for two kinds of barbeque lovers. Those who love the great taste of hickory and those who cannot eat sugar, but have the desire for excellent barbeque. Garlic was added to give extra flavor and boost to your health.

 

Papa Charlie's Greek Rub Seasoning **

Excellent on beef (Prime Rib) or your favorite poutry dish. Very versitile and flavorful. This rub is excellent on vegetables,salads, pasta and fish.

 

Pecan Rub Seasoning **

The rub with the most flavor without compromising the distinct taste. Once a regional product it has gained broad appeal in all market. Excellent on pork roast, chicken, grilled fish, ribs and oriental dishes.

Just when you thought you had the "right stuff" someone throws a kink in your armor and you have to make changes. Lets face it, change is inevitable. I changed this one and added garlic, herbs, and flavor that you like. It is GOOD.

 

Tammy's Dirty Rice Seasoning *

A regional taste that is close to the old taste "Mama" cooked on a fall evening when life was wonderful. It is very versatile and can be eaten with either chicken, sausage, oysters, vegetables or just plain. Excellent for large parties, it has the right amount of flavor, for any selected celebration.

 

Texas Passport "Jalapeno" (Hot) **

Our last attempt to introduce Jalapeno was very cautious and without very much "heat". The customers liked the mild but wanted more "heat", like the true Texans and others wanted it. This rub is "hot" and has all the flavors for those who wanted "hot" like this. The passport depicts the true Jalapeno lover and the mild is for those who are training their taste buds for this bold taste.

 

Texas Passport "Jalapeno" (Mild) **

It is hot yet not offensive with all of the flavors of the true "hot" Jalapeno. It is excellent on ribs, briskets, vegetables and pork roasts. So get your taste buds ready for a taste that true to Texas. This is a prerequisite for Texas Passport.

 

Wichita Falls Gumbo Seasoning *

This product was created with the best spices and seasonings that we could assemble, as with all of our other products. However, this seasoning was tested many times by some of the best gumbo lovers in the South and Southwest. We discovered that it is loved by people of all backgrounds and has received rave reviews from all that have tried it. So, if you like good cajun with a Wichita twist, get ready to enjoy the best product on the market. By the way, if you like your seasoning hot, try our "Texas" Jalapeno Passport rub.
